I think a one-key shortcut is coming with OS 4.5? 4.6? I read it somewhere... Kronk's right - you can set a convenience button - or - you can turn off dialing from home screen and hit "f", then scroll to the profile you want.
I feel all warm & fuzzy now after the thanks. So often, I (we) answer single-posters and never hear back from them if it worked.
Sort of like raising a little sparrow from a new hatchling, then releasing it in the wild - you never know if it is out there flying around, chirping happily or it got snatched out of mid-air by a hawk and devoured.

The Pearl vibrate key # was smart and used often. My new curve does not feature this. How lame as it is used often in meetings, etc. You would think the genius of BB would have assigned this simple wonder. Duh. I'm told a download patch will be available for this. Anyone know if this is in place yet?
You can also just scroll to the speaker icon on your homepage and select the vibrate option there. Only takes me a second to change to vibrate when heading into a meeting.
Has anyone found a one-key shortcut with 4.5 or up? Trying to find same function as Pearl where holding the # will change profile even when bb is locked.
