how do i setup my email on there i followed the steps in the wizard for gmail and my university email and both inboxes have not synced yet its been about 40 minutes...dont know what else to do now
says your not a blackberry user, do you have one? which one? with what service? did you try logging into your providers BIS acct to add them? some universities emails like ours requires you be on BES so it won't work without forwarding email to another account, can you confirm that yours doesn't?
i have the 9700 with fido its unlocked from rogers and i have a 1gb blackberry data package im using bbm that works just fine
i can confirm the forwarding part doesnt need that because my cousin goes to the same university as me and her blackberry tour doesnt require this and she has her university email setup on there but i cant get ahold of her right now shes out of country for a bit
check your options/advanced options/service books. look to see if any of those email addresses are listed. if they are not, then the service books did NOT get sent to your phone yet.
lol thanks for that but seriously I don't understand what else to do. I setup the e-mail accounts via the email wizard. The emails show up on the home screen but the hasn't filled up with the emails in my actual email account. And also it stated that I would have a email sent to my email account to confirm that it is me and that still has not been sent. Did I do anything wrong? Do I need to do anything more?
Well, I signed on again and tried it myself... gmail is now only IMAP, not POP, so I don't think you can view your old mail unless you use the gmail mobile app.
Don't give bad advice. The blackberry will only download new mail. To get old mail you need to download and install either the gmail application or logicmail.

check Enable POP for all mail (even mail that's already been downloaded)
