help sending large attachments from blackberry...
- Hi I am trying to find a way for me to send emails with large attachments from my blackberry. I don't have a specific case as to a single file or anything but I'm trying to set up my blackberry so that I have all my files that i might need for work on it and if i am in a meeting and want to email a client a file i can pull out my blackberry and send it from there. I'm not trying to spend a ton of money on those remote desktop mobile applications I wasn't sure if there is a way to just send the files or if there were any tricks to getting around the limit... does anyone know the limit? i'm on verizon's network if that matters.. I use a curve 8330 and if this works i will be setting it up for my boss on his phone. which is a Storm. thanks for any help.10-01-09 01:23 PMLike 0

Move your collection of files to the internet, Google would be pleased to host them for you, and include links in your emails.
The recipient clicks on the link, gets the multi-Mb presentation through the Browser. The clip board makes copying and pasting links a snap.
Second, save them on your media card, but in a compressed and segmented format that can pass the minimum size filter. Less desirable, takes the recipient multiple clicks to get the content.
Huge attachments are best served by high bandwidth sources, even if the final step is back to mobile.10-01-09 02:06 PMLike 0
