Are you on the BES through your company? Your IT dept can block that stuff..

    Welcome to CrackBerry.

If your phone has been connected to BlackBerry Enterprise Service, you will have an IT mandated policy installed. One common restricting is preventing you from installing any third party applications.

The reason is security. The risk is a third party application could contain a trojan that could access corporate resources through the firewall.

Attempting to remove an IT policy is a serious concern. In many cases, it would be grounds for dismissal.
