    I am trying to use my BB to aid me with my computer.
    I want to get on line from a remote site with my usb wire.
    I know it can be done but with my ATT service, I am getting no help.
    Hope someone out there can get me to first base.. s

    excelent, I got ATT.... I think your infor pertained to Tmobile.

    I don't know lol, I just saw the thread when I did a search for you . I have TMo, but I don't use my berry as a modem. I'm sure a lot of the info is generic. But I'll look some more for ya.

    I just looked at the thread and it is for all berries, not just TMo. I try to give help that applies to all BlackBerrys. Not just TMo.

    On AT&T you would need to sign up for a separate tethering
    package. I think it is $10-15 additional per month.

    I'm going to give this a shot later today. Too tired to read through
    it all right now.

    But I wonder if heavy usage of this method will trigger a sign (High data usage in MBs)
    to the carrier that the device is circumventing the tethering plan
    and results in a giant billing surprise
