help with icon on screen of pearl 8130

There is an icon on my bb8130 that only appears when the phone is locked. It sorta looks like a verizon symbol, that is who my carrier is. I have attached a screen shot of the icon. Like I said it does not appear when the phone is unlocked only in LOCKED position does this appear. Can anyone help me with this I have no idea what it is. Any help would be appreciated.

The one on the left? I think it's your GPS location.

No, not the one on the left, that is the gps location. Its the one right over my last name with the number 1 beside it.
