we leave in 10 days and i want to take my phone

if they work on gsm you can. youll just have to buy a prepaid sim card there to use in you phone.

Yeah, you'll need to unlock it to use a non-Verizon SIM card. Just call Verizon and tell them you are traveling out of the country and you want the unlock code for your Storm.
