Hey guys,

Ok this sucks.

I am a new student and the school uses IMAP. I have set it up with outlook and everything works well on the PC. However, i set up the email on my BB Curve and it only receives emails either extremely delayed (like 10 hours) or whenever i send receive outlook, my blackberry almost immediately gets the emails.

it is very strange!

Any help would be great!

Have you tried to resend the service books? Or a battery pull? These usually help.

I'm having the same problem. Although I exchanged my device last night and tried sending service books, pulled the battery, provisioned my connections.

Any help?

because imap is not a push service on blackberry.

unless you really need the extra functionality of imap, you can just forward your mail to your bb and it will get pushed instantly.
