Hi...I was wondering if someone can help me?
My blackberry curve 8300 seems to be fried. I keep getting error message 552. I know have to reinstall the OS but I work off of a mac and that is the least of my problems because I'm ready for a new BB.

My question is, I have tons of stuff saved on my notes tab that I can't get to because I can't get past the error message. Is the stuff on the notes tab saved on the phone or saved on the SIM card? Am I basically screwed? Someone please tell me no because I have some very important stuff on there.

Please let me know.

I am sure that all info saved on standard BB apps are saved to phone memory. So your notes will be on the handset.

When did you last back It up. You might be able to recover from last backup

Have you tried bbsak or crackmem to totally wipe os. Then reinstall OS then restore backup.

That might work.

I suggest going to a local library and get to work there lol...

DM for Mac should be released tomorrow if you want to wait..when was your last backup? You can restore from there

I just tried from a PC and its not working

I just have a blank white screen.

I have never backed it up because it has never worked for the mac.
Everytime I tried to install the cd my computer wouldn't recognize it.
I don't care about the number or anything in the phone besides what is saved on the notes icon
