Yesterday I just decided to use the microphone on the Blackberry Virtual keyboard installed via Cobalt's Blackberry Manager on my Oneplus 3T and it failed. It took me to setting to download language packs but I changed nothing and nothing I did worked. I uninstalled everything several times yet when I try to use the voice-to-text it turns off as fast as I turn it on. Just stops.

Has anyone else experienced this? I would like very much to keep using the Blackberry Virtual keyboard.

Go into the settings for the virtual keyboard and turn off voice input at the bottom and the Blackberry keyboard will start using Google's voice to text in place. I have it working using that now.

Hey have you noticed that word predictions have improved since switching voice to text over to Google? I find that I am swiping much more and getting at times two words in one swipe. I've not noticed seeing that before

You can disable Offline speech recognition which I believe is the root of the issue as there is no language packs available for this feature. To disable go to Blackberry Keyboard Options -> Advanced -> Voice input -> (disable) Use offline speech recognition.

By doing this, the blackberry keyboard app is fully integrated and you can easily switch between the modes at the top of the keyboard app GUI. If you disable "Enable built-in voice input" you will get the Google GUI and you cannot easily toggle back to BB virtual keyboard.
