I use my BB pearl alarm. Recently, my alarm did not go off although it was set and the bell was visible on the mainscreen. When the alarm does go off, the phone lights up with the dismiss buttom. However, there is NO sound. I tried changing the sound on the alarm menu but it won't even give me a sample of my choices. What do I need to do?

Ok first things first did you try a battery pull?

I just did a battery pull and it did work. I guess I'm a little worried now whether I can trust my alarm or not since I rely on it to get to work on time.

I had a problem with the alarm on my 8700 and ended up getting the alarm made by bbsmart which worked flawlessly. There are several alarms out there to choose from if you search a bit.
