recently i dropped my bb trackball and while waiting for my replacement set to arrive, i've been using the chrome done under the trackball as a means of clicking. this morning, however, the chrome dome (that has this copperish looking film plastic on top) fell out. i realized after it fell out that that piece acted as a spring to click on the blackberry. i still have the chrome piece, but i'm scared of gluing it back on as that might ruin the entire thing. does anyone have any ideas? please help!

Don't glue it on, use a strong, mylar type tape to stick it on the circuit board. You can also use the Enter key for about 90 percent of your clicking duties.

    AH THANK YOU!

Should I tape the sides of the film or on the copper part directly? Would that affect the sensitivity of the clicking?
