Help!!!
Recently i just got a Bell 9700 from a friend of mine. I'm with telus. Well anyways i unlocked the phone and got a new sim card (my phone broke from water damage). The phone wont work at all(can't bbm, go on fb, text, or even make calls). I've called telus about 3 times and they say that "unlocked" phones are harder for them to work with. Also my plan is the social networking plan (unlimited bbm, texting and fb/myspace).
a) does this usually happen and is there anyway to help this problem?
b) does it make sense that "unlocked" phones are harder to work with ?
help would be greatly appreciated.

Why create another thread for a question you already asked and got plenty of responses too?? ::rolleyes:: Just follow the directions given about provisioning the correct service books and you'll be fine

Are you sure it's unlocked. When you type MEPD in options-advanced - simcard
what do you see beside Network and Service Provider???

this is what it says:
SIM DISABLED
NETWORK DISABLED
NETWORK SUBSET DISABLED
SERVICE PROVIDER DISABLED
CORPORATE DISABLED
