+1. Don't mess around indeed. you can severely harm, or destroy your device by messing around in the e screens... i am not 100% sure, but it might void the warranty as well (if your device is still covered...)

modding is change original firmware with a firmware made in home that performance or add new utilities to our phone. is there anything similiar to blackberry phone?

i've read about hybrid FW.. what are they? how can i install tthem on my phone?
Check out the OS fourms. There are offical releases, leaked releases, and hybrids, with lost of posts and info... Don't be afraid to use the search box in the top right hand corner

Also, as far as i know, you cannot put any other OS on your blackberry except rim's. you cannot install apps on the memory card either.
