The month my first born was "hatched" i think i racked up 4,200 minuets on my line alone. Luckly i just switched to T-Mobile's Even More + plan so i didn't get bombed with overage fees. my wife's line was something like 3,000 minuets....
but i'm talking from the day she was born on 11/15/09 to 12/15/09....

I'm willing to bet that I've probably, maybe approached 2,000 minutes for a month.
But a really long time ago before texting and IM'ng on phones became so prominent.
jeez I use a couple hundred minutes a month I have so many rollover minutes its pathetic ill never use them up
Yea i typically don't use anywhere near that, but with a family as large as mine (and my wife's family is even bigger), and a church family over over 1,100 the calls came in EXTREMLY quickly. Lukly the Labor Unit she was in had Public Wi-Fi so i could use UMA, really didn't do much for the bill, but the reception was top-notch and i never lost a call.

My last month's bill was 5300 plus on my line alone. The month before that was somewhere in the range of 6000. I have two batteries and chargers everywhere so I never run out of power.
Wow, I mean i can understand how ppl do it, but i've never come close lol... Any calls I make are at night or on weekends with my work schedule so I maybe do 300 in a month... Now text messages, that's another story lol
I think the most I've ever done is 1,500 - and that is totaling mobile to mobile & night and weekend minutes along with anytime.
This month is the first time I've broken 100 anytime minutes in ages - I had to do a conference call on my mobile instead of at the office because I couldn't get into work on time due to the icy conditions.
My average monthly usage is around 3,000+ minutes. I pretty much run my business off of my BB, so it makes sense to me to use a lot.
Even so, I haven't gone over my monthly plan (1400 minutes) in a very long time. It's one of the reasons I like USCC since I have unlimited incoming calls, plus nights and weekends. I typically use around 800-1000 plan minutes per month.
I have used ~3500 minutes since the 27th of last month, and my cycle obviously goes to 27th of this month. So yeah, definitely average more than 5k a month. Sad part is I have used probably ~7k or so text this billing cycle already too. I have no excuse for my minutes being high since I text lol...Unlimited Loyalty for the win!
Me and my girlfriend have 550 minutes on our plan, and we prolly use about 35 of that a month. We also have unl mobile to mobile and free nights and weekends, and from that we prolly use 200 minutes a month. We don't talk on the phone. She is constantly sms'ing, same with me, but I also use BBM a lot. No one I talk to calls. So minutes are never used.

I am pretty much the same. I IM a lot, send and receive about 200 work related
and personal email a day. Texting, I hate. My total sent or received in a month
averages less than 25.
No where near, I have 700 minutes per month on my plan and rarely exceed 60 minutes! Now SMS's that is a VERY different story LOL! Forgot to mention, incoming calls do not count against our minutes in the UK :-)
Does anyone talk over 5000 minutes per month on a single line? I'm not talking about family plans.
Thats 12% of your life on the phone. Deduct sleep time, depending on your sleep habits, and now your up to 19% to 20%. I love my BB but there is no reason the be talking on a phone that much.
Me and the gal have 1400 minutes to split between us, and I think we used a total of 97 last month... Between unlimited mobile to mobile (most people I talk to frequently have Verizon) and the 10 friends and family numbers (5 of which we have setup) we hardly use any minutes. I mostly do SMS, BBM, E-Mail, or FB to contact people... for me, I'd rather do that than talk to someone, of course, that's just me...
