Like the Passport they will use a slimport adaptor.
I don't see the need for a dedicated HDMI port. BlackBerry is probably going with the Slimport for all devices.
I hope they improve on the use of Mirror cast.
Miracast on my Q10 has taken over for me using the Microsoft video dongle.
But I spent many years using the hdmi cable on my PlayBook and then on Q10, and having separate ports in order to charge while using HDMI was really handy.

I want that HDMI separately as mentioned above. Truly a great feature but I don't see it mentioned and even when I slow down the video for the Leap I can't see one.

Micro hdmi + USB is awesome on the z10. I can hook it up to the TV with a $5 cable and show family videos and pictures on a big screen, without worrying about the battery dying. Why wouldn't I want that feature?

I don't want to see it go. I love being able to hook up my phone to a tv if need be. I've even started carrying the cable with me to school. If I have documents/videos that a group needs to see it's quick an easy and no need to cart the laptop with me.
I'd rather have one plug that takes care of everything such as a mlh plug. It's easier than trying to figure out what plugs will hit with certain cases and also hitting each other. Using a USB drive will be easier. I use the hdmi port in my truck and wished it was less cables when I need to also charge it

Well I just received confirmation that the Leap only has a USB port for charging and data. No Slim Port
