Hi im trying to unlock my blackberry 9360 which is locked to virgin uk, i have a code to put in but the problem is that the screen where you input the code isnt coming up, ive typed mep2 etc... but still nothing is coming up.
Options - Device - Advanced System Settings - Sim Card
Make sure you have another network sim card in and then once you have got to the Sim Card bit of the menu type in 'mepd' without the commas and it should work as I have no problem doing this on any blackberry. If this doesn't work then you should exit out of all menus then go back in and then type in 'mepd' first and then 'mep2'. If you need any help let me know.
Did you try the different variations of entering mepd?
1 - hold alt the entire time and press "mepe". Technically it's mep2 but since youre holding the slt button down it doesn't make a difference as "e" is "2"
2 - try pressing m e p alt e - basically making it mep2.
If no screen comes up with both variations it means the phone is already unlocked.
Regardless this should all be done at the settings the guy above me mentioned - options, device, advanced system settings, sim card.
