I've had 3 Z10 devices that died, thanks God they were on warranty. The actual one works great.

I need to add to mine. BBM is filling up my device storage just by having an open but non-active conversation. Ridiculous. And I have a BlackBerry.

Had a track ball on my 9000 crap out, then got the white screen of death on my 9780, then I had a z10 brick on me. Oh and then that same z10 got crushed by a weight at the gym (not the phones fault obviously). Overall a pretty good track record for my BlackBerry, and my current z30 hasn't had a single problem yet

I had trackballs problems on my Bold. Other than this I had defective screen on my Z10. My Z10 was replaced by the service centre. Other than this never faced any issue with my Z30 and my Passports devices.
BlackBerry devices are workhorses and very reliable indeed.

Out of curiosity, why did you buy 9 phones within the past 3 years? That seems excessive.
I am the buyer and payer of phones. Work, kids, parents, girlfriend, and my own.

The most expensive was a $250 (Canadian) z30 which has yet to see a sim card.

The bb10 inventory write down has been very kind to me.

I have had the following BlackBerry devices:
    8310
    9900
    Z10
    Z30
    Passport
    Priv

The Passport, in my experience had serious issues with screen lifting. Replaced 3 devices, all had screen lifting. When I got the 4th new unit I quickly sold it just before the year of warranty was up.

The Priv has taken 4 new units to finally get one that doesn't have build quality issues. It was either a loose screen or a really crappy keyboard.

I love BlackBerry, but the recent devices have had serious QC problems. I can't be the only one experiencing this.

I never had any problems with any other BlackBerry owned previously.

I have been told, I possibly have a defective microphone on my Z10, noticeable during calls.
But the real question is: has it served me better than the non-Blackberry phones I've had in the past. And the answer is: "Absolutely".
Better than the phones I've owned and the phones of the family members and friends around me without Blackberries. Some who have had to replace their phones once even twice since I brought mine.

9780, screen failure (dropped too many times to count), 9900 keyboard failure after a drop face down on textured concrete, used z10 flawless, used z30 flawless, shop BB z30 microphone failure and proximity sensor failure both repaired by me. Not bad all things considered.

Q10 double-typitis cured by me. A few bux and a few minutes.

Passport battery life. Wasn't curable, due to heavy use... nothing wrong with the phone... :-D

Corrupted SD card. SanDisk replaced. Not a BlackBerry issue.

On my first ever BB phone that I bought last year in May. Which is a Q10. So far so good no problems on it. It has a once in a blue moon freezing problem. No need to restart the phone just lock the screen. Any other than that I love the phone.

Only problem was double typing on my first Classic which is not present with my replacement Classic. I have owned Curve 8320, Bold 9780, Bold 9900, Z10 (2), Q10 and a Classic as well as the Playbook. Not problems with any of them. Z10s were used and abused by kids and still held up well.

On the other hand our LGG3 had to be replaced for a cracked screen (with protector and case on) and S5 had to have camera replaced when it fell face down onto our driveway. Big differences. Thankful for insurances!

Passport after 2 months has given me fatal error bberror.com/0015 on start screen. This was after security wipe was taken 8+ hours. Can't seem to get link to work as keeps turning itself on and off in a loop boot cycle??? Loved the phone but wouldn't recommend based on personal experience

What's funny about a lot of these posts is that they are in the style of "No, never had any problems, except for this, this, and this...but no problems at all."

If you've had a problem then you've had a problem. You can't qualify it with "No, except for this or that.". If you've had an issue you've had an issue. The OP didn't ask how many issues you've had, just if you've ever had any.
