Nope. I have a couple of APKs but that's because BlackBerry doesn't have the app and the other is a side by side comparison. Apps made specifically for BlackBerry run really smooth.

I only use a few android apps, in the case when I can't get an equivalent in blackberry world.

I have quite a few friends who are working in tech, or are tech geeks, and a few of them have picked up the z10 since finding out you can install android apks directly, and the z10 now being available for around $200. These guys only get native apps that are free, and one's they were using already on android.. for the most part they install apks and don't even look at bbw

No, android apps ask for pretty much all permissions even the simplest apps do. BlackBerry World is my main store. I only have 5 android apps installed. I am however grateful for Snap.

I'm using both Snap and BBW. I prefer to use BBW and use snap only for those apps that ae not in BBW

No... bbw is great but was missing two apps I needed... now I have them on my Z30 and my Note 3 is for sale on eBay!

Oh hell no. Being able to download android apps has opened my eyes to just how inferior they are to BlackBerry apps.

I love the option of snap, but it hasn't replace the app world. All Android port apps don't work the way they are supposed to on BlackBerry

So far I've only downloaded 3 from snap and only one remains it is Netflix. I would much prefer native bb10 apps but until they can fill all my needs it is very nice to have an option.

I thought I might become a heavy user of Android apps downloaded through Snap, based on the headlines that we BlackBerry users were missing out on so much. Surprisingly, the 8 or so I have installed so far have whetted my appetite. I find the native apps and some of the Android ports through BBW to be superior and sufficient.

No. Too many Snap Android apps don't work, or run slowly compared to native apps (or even compared to the same app on the Galaxy Nexus which has even less powerful hardware than the Z10 but has a much faster Android runtime).

The BB10 Android runtime is still much slower than most runtimes when it comes to *certain functions*.

When you get an app that makes heavy use of the functions that run slowly on BB10, then you get a slow app. However some Android apps may use only functions that run well on BB10. Those apps run like native (like Netflix for example).

The other problem with Android apps from Snap is NOTIFICATIONS!

I've never gotten a single background notification on any Android app (NOT including Android apps from BlackBerry World -- notifications work on those).

Lack of notifications alone keep BlackBerry World relevant.
