Given how Link and Blend were, no thank you.

They can't modify and resell Windows like they can open source Android, so that's out.

And running QNX on desktop PCs runs into the same square peg round hole problem that they had with QNX on phones.

That don't make phone that do that.... so why would they make computers that would.

For most people a computer is about running software. Think you would find the number of software vendors willing to support a BlackBerry PC even fewer than those willing to support their phone operating systems.

MS could make Windows much more secure.... only it would be less functional, and functionality is the key to their success. If business need more security, they have network hardware and software that helps them to do that.

His 2nd and 3rd questions could be interpreted like this: If not, why not doing this as this is a "good idea"? To market them, how about using the security aspects as selling points?
