never mind, i found the answer: "To stop google maps from nuking MGMaps I went into the permissions for google maps and set "Module Management" to "Deny."

i just went into google map permission and don't see "module management" anywhere. any1 know where is it?

i was able to get google map and gmap to coexist on my 9700 and i don't see "module management" on the 9700 either. any1 know how to fix this? thx in advance.

vincent ~ go to options (for the phone) -> Advanced Options -> Applications -> GoogleMaps -> edit permissions

Might not be the exact same words on your phone, but you get the idea.

yup...went there already....dont see anything similar to it and i also choose accept for all the permission. so any ideas any1?

Instead of MGMaps you could use nogago Outdoor, which does seem to work the same way. But it is not affected by gmaps.
