    Hi I'm having trouble with my GPS it won't turn on I went into options and turned it on but my traveling GPS that I downloaded for my phone still won't work. Can someone give me some advice?

    I downloaded amaze and nav4all, and no the gps isn't picking up any satelites. So do you know what's up?

    I'm on my bb so I can't see your carrier but if its vzw you aren't gonna get any 3rd party gps apps to work

    If it is 4.5.0.127, it is a known issue that GPS functionality doesn't work with that OS on Alltel.

    To check your OS version. Options, About. Third line down.

    Use this guide and the alltel settings: http://forums.crackberry.com/f41/rea...v1-0-a-192999/ it worked for me on my 8330. Your security code is 000000.

    Yeah, list all the numbers in the OS version. Update to at least 4.5.0.131 on the Alltel Curve and the GPS will work just fine with no work arounds needed.

    Before you try the complicated phone-hack method, try the Garmin download first. I have USCC which I think is very similar to Alltell, and the Garmin method worked beautifully for me.
