    Hi
My internet browsing is very slow when using GPS, in my house. I am also connected to the Wi-fi, so why does the wi-fi signal not take over from the GPS and allow me to surf quicker?
Can I change the settings on my BB?

    Many thanks

I think you mean GPRS, right?
If this is the case, then you need to switch to the Hotspot browser at the advanced options->browser item.

Sorry, buddy. Yes I probably do mean GPRS. D'oh!
    Thanks.
If I change to 'Hotspot', does it mean that it will not work off the GPRS at all, or purely that it will over-ride the GPRS if Wi-fi is stronger?

    Cheers

Well, it means, that it will use wifi instead of GPRS/EDGE, and if no wifi signal is available, then you will have to switch back to the other browser.
Unfortunately, the BB browser is not smart enough yet to do it on it's own.

also I will switch off the wifi when I am not using it so that I use GPRS for calls.
