    I am a new user of the Verizon network and the 8330. Are there any GPS apps that work for free? Did Verizon block all 3rd party apps for GPS? I don't to pay for VZ Navigation. Please advise.

    The only way to get full-featured GPS with Verizon is to pay for it. With OS 4.5 you can use BlackBerry Maps, but there's no enunciation or turn-by-turn instruction. But the GPS does work.

    When I try to download BB Maps it says it is only availavle on devices running software v4.1 or v4.2 x. I have v4.5x. What now?

    You need to download the OS version that is on your BB to your PC. Then you need to connect your BB to Desktop Manager and use Application Loader to load BB Maps to your BB.
