Why am i having such a hard time finding a GPS tracking app. or program that I can use to mark waypoints or has a compass for my 8330 curve on the verizon network?

Is there no such animal?

VZW has disabled GPS except for VZNavigator on the 8330.

Blackstar is one you might want to look at, but like jbarbero said, your best bet would be to get a bluetooth GPS hootie to get around the Verizon foolishness.

I have tryed a lot of different GPS programs. None will work with the 8330 Verizon phones.

They all will with an external bluetooth GPS receiver.

Bing works with GPS on a VZW 8330. Similar to Google Maps but not quite the same. I don't know if it will do the tracking & compass stuff you are looking for.
