Is there a GPS program for the Verizon 8330 that will show your current location? BB maps won't show where you are at the moment. If I were to go out or town and walking and wanted to find a bookstore in the area. What would I use? or do I have to pay the $9.95 a month for the TelNav? Or do they have a pay as you go. I wouldn't need it every day but if I was on vacation I might want to use it that week. Thanks.

I use Google Maps. There might be other apps out there that are better, but GM works good for me, and its free..

BB Maps will work with the Verizon Curve's internal GPS if you have the version 4.5 phone OS on the device.

But I agree that Google Maps are great and they will use triangulation to show your approximate location.
