None of the 3rd Party apps, including blackberry maps can locate a GPS signal on my phone. VZNAV is the only one that seems to work fine so I don't think the GPS is completely broken in my storm. I've read a number of threads and I have GPS Data Source set to "Device GPS" and GPS Services is set to "Location on".

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

with bb maps (for me) it takes a long time to get the satellites. You need to make sure you are outside or it won't connect to anything. What I do is when I am going to walk around I just set it up and stick it in my pocket then check back in a minute or two.

I'm just waiting for google maps to finally work (hopefully)

I stuck my phone outside for 30 minutes while BB maps was trying to locate a signal and nothing.

My BB Maps is working very fast . . never more than a minute to acquire . . . try a battery pull then do it again.
