I have an 8830 and external gps (bluetooth) and am going to cabo san lucas mexico. Anyone know of a software that will work and give directions? Have looked at nav4all, but can't tell if it needs a phone connection (.99/min) or data (gonna have anyway). I'm with Verizon. Thx!

It looks like Google Maps has Cabo streets. Of course that will require a connection. I did see a program on Crackberry that would allow you to store Google maps on your BB however I haven't tried it. Sorry I can't remember the name right now but search around and I'm sure you can find it. Good Luck and say hi to Sammy Hagar while you're down there.

Trekbuddy and MobileGmaps (not google) will use maps you compile in advance and then store on an SD card. Not exactly simple and you have to plan in advance. No data is necessary with them.
