I do not have BB Maps on my phone. It's not in the app folder, already looked, per another thread.

    Suggestions?

Similar question. I have BB Maps but only plan on using Google Maps. Is it okay to delete BB Maps?

    Hey all,

Very new to this, but I installed the VZ Navigator and the BB maps came up in the applications folder. GPS worked with it also. I am not sure if this relies on the VZ Navigator for anything.

VZ Navigator is one more blunder, $10 a month. (Sort of like the $500 charge for the phone - that's falsely NOT advertised )

You still bought the phone didn't you and yeah 500 for retail is what we all knew. VZ Nav served it's purpose for VZW but they must have heard the masses and now we have unlocked GPS

With your BB sync'd to your pc, but DM OFF, go here with internet explorer BlackBerry - Engage an even more powerful BlackBerry Storm
reload your OS and the app loader has an option to add stuff like BB maps..
Also before you set up BB maps make sure you go to options>advanced options>GPS>and turn location on, by default it's 911 only....

dante13, I believe the maps application is with the Blackberry desktop software. I did not see it in the Application Center. It installed when I installed VZ Nav from the Blackberry desktop. I promptly removed VZ Nav, BB Maps stayed.

    Hope that helps.
