    if my provider dosent support gps can i get a gps reciever and use software for golf on blackberry linked to gps through bluetooth?? any help with this would be greatly appreciated thanks

    This is not true for Verizon users who are using the 8330. Sure we can get VZ Navigator but who is going to pay a monthly charge.

    Third party GPS apps do not work with the Verizon 8330.

    I use garmin gps for gps and it works flawless. My brother has the 8330 for vzw and has garmin as well works flawless on his phone as well. I got it for free just by looking around

    The GPS in a Verizon 8330 will not work with Garmin Mobile for BlackBerry, and Garmin Mobile is not legally available for free anywhere. I suspect your brother is running a different app.
