Hello,
i got a problem with all gps applications (Google maps and BB maps).
I can't find my location, when i select this option, the software keeps searching for salletite without any result! I just have the next message :
"the connection requested a client certificate for authentication. One could not be found on the device. would you like to continue ?"
Then nothing happens !

Could you please help me and tell what do i have to do to solve this problem
All the option required for launching gps on the device are set on in the option menu !

Do you have a Blackberry Data Plan on your Phone???

And what is your current status: EDGE, edge, GSM, gsm, GRPS, etc, etc... what is top right of your home screen???

Also... are you trying to refresh your GPS outside or inside???

3G and outside !

Ok... outside... clear view of the sky... open Options > Advanced Options > GPS >
GPS Data Source: Device GPS
GPS Service: Location On
Location Data: Enabled
Location Aiding: Enabled

Menu > Refresh GPS... stay outside for at least 10 minutes... does this give you satellite location???

Call your provider and ask for a Blackberry rep... sounds like an issue on how they set you up... did you just get the phone?

i was trying to refresh gps too all day yesterday under a clear sky...but no luck. then finally was able to get it later of the day. my theory is the military must send all the satellites over to iraq for their drones operations.

Not even funny... GPS satellites are stationary satellites... my GPS just picked up 6 satellites.
