I am having a problem with Googlemaps, it constantly tells me "Waiting for GPS"...why can't it be as fast as the iPhone (and this is coming from someone who NEVER owned the iPhone...the 9700 is my 4th Blackberry and I am a TRUE Crackberry!!!) But I just was told that the GPS would activate super fast. I upgraded this phone from the 8900 thinking 3G was gonna be fast but it's not that fast as I wish it was (ie iPhone)...maybe it's a T-mobile thing.
Anyway, this thread is about GPS...so wtf?! Right now I'm in NY and when I press the zero key to home in on my location, it says I'm in Miami and now says "GPS Temporarily Unavailable"...WHY!?!?!
I have the same issue with Pionte. Sometimes it will not find m gps location but I can on google maps and vice versa. Not sure why but it is frustrating.
