I'm in Mauritius at the moment, want to use GPS on my blackberry, but wouldn't work. Please need help

I'm in Singapore & mine doesn't seem to work too. It appears to be forever "searching for satellites".

You need a Blackberry Data Plan to use GPS to receive any data... I've had "Searching for Satellites" and my GPS still works... personally, I like using GoogleMaps, but I don't know how well that works over there.

If you have a BB Data Plan, go outside, with a clear view of the sky and try to refresh it... it can take 10-15 minutes to return information if you are using the refresh.
