Interesting concept, and seemingly very useful. Thanks for the announcement.

Sweet app! No need for GVdialer now!
IIRC - this application will only work if you already have a GoogleVoice account.
has anyone been able to download the app yet?
I did download it, this morning, only used it once as a "test" but it seems to work just like it should.
do you remember the link you downloaded it from? I cant get it at all.
anyone have an invite they could send me? Please PM me
i went to m.google.com/voice from my 8900's OE browser.
Works great saved me 10 bucks. ;)
The invite email contains a code, that is good for one account only, once the first invited person sets up the account, the code is no longer good. I tried it yesterday and sent the invite to a good buddy of mine i know personally.
Members can not send other members invites you just have to apply and wait and wait and wait.....

good deal
*thumbs up*
can you try and go there again and see if it still works?
o i followed u on twitter too!
nevermind I got it....yay!
I downloaded the software, so does that mean that when I dial thru google voice, I should use the address book from the software?
Rochelle
I waited 6 months for mine.
It works great, just finished playing with it.
You HAVE to have prior GoogleVoice account to use the GV application. but if you want to remain anonymous or record the call then use GV - but typically you just use your standard number.
I have a google voice mail account. I am unsure how to use this new software. If I dial via the new software, does it come thru my google voice acct.

When you go to your address book and hit the menu button
you'll see this

if you select that option you'll place the call using GV. if you dial like normal you'll make the call via your regular number.
Thanks, it just starting working properly after a battery pull.. This is so very amazing.

Since a spoof number is seemingly called, how does this affect charges? I mean, the biggest draw is the free calls... but can the spoof number throw this off in Myfaves/Friends & Family plans?
this is my question too...how does it effect in-calling with verizon, friends and fam, etc.
it loses a lot of lustre to me if you suddenly have to pay for those minutes that used to not count against your account.
I'm sure it it affected but how i don't know, i do not have my fave five plan, so i haven't looked into it.
Weird thing is I can send SMS's through Google Voice on WIFI only but can't receive them on WIFI only. It would be nice to be able to do that. Anyone else try?
