Funny. I'd have this exact pet peeve from the beginning, where the stock browser never showed the 'images' result with such clarity, so i went to download Evolution Browser about 10 mins ago, and I could see what I was missing out. I'm hoping this level of neglect by Google stops fairly soon, and have their servers notice BB10 devices on much the same way as it her ecosystems!

Settings> developer tools > desktop mode. For anyone not sure how to turn on the default browsers desktop mode to render Web pages as if it was a pc.

Since this thread is about the BB10 browser. Can someone any one answer this question.

I find the default font on the browser too small ( Chrome on Android's much larger) but I understand that you can change the font size in the settings. Does a one time change to the browser settings cure the small font issue ? ( unlike the iphone ).

I tried out the Z30 browser and the default font was legible.

I don't think that's really fair.

One complaint doesn't mean that the phone isn't best for them, they simply dislike the some of the way Google functions.

OP gets to decide if the phone meets his or her needs. Nothing wrong with the iPhone if it is the best ecosystem for the OP.
