    The article argues about the void that BB phones leave ie., productivity and security and that Android is best positioned to fill it, nothing about Google working with BBLtd.

    Pure speculation, but an interesting viewpoint nonetheless.
    That says google should step into the security space - it has nothing to do with blackberry themselves or even suggests google should release a keyboard phone or the like.

    Exactly. BB hasn't sold to business for years - it's been a consumer brand since 2014 at the latest. The idea that businesses are clamoring for more security is hilarious - they already have that available in the form of MDM/EMM software - including BB UEM.

    Whoever wrote that article doesn't know much about corporate smartphone deployments or priorities.
