i used to own a moto Q thought it was a great device, then i bought a bb hated it for about two weeks then i was like whoa !! ill never own another device again..... b ut that droid.....you'll probably see more consumer ended apps for that then you will on a more business oriented Berry. But we'll see these new 5 o/s are amazing, don't plan on ditching my storm any time soon.
on topic though the navigator looks sweet. the fact that it is turn by turn gps nav out of the box for free. why would anyone buy a garmin or tomtom anymore. gps companies should start thinking of a new career lol.
I personally think they will release it on blackberry after its a free product just like many of google products. It will however, take a while for it to be able on blackberry. They are just trying to promote android as much as they can but am sure it definitely will be released on other platforms.

They are Garmin has the "nuvi-phone" out now here in states... or it's coming out soo.
Another formerly lucrative niche in the technical arena has just become commoditized. I would give up VZNAV for this in a heartbeat, even if I had to pay.
Android is owned by Google.. so why WOULDNT they have all the cool apps. They basically just gave Gmaps a UI change Android 2.0 is tempting but RIM and Blackberry have been too good for me to jump ship. I might get a 2nd line and have a Droid phone on the side.. it'll be like my ugly mistress since they ALL have ugly physical designs to me
Google is well known for storing every bit of information that goes trough them weather it's received or sent, documents etc, there's actually an anti google movement, just google it
I can't see businesses ever changing to android.

i hope this comes to BB. I would love it. I use Google maps all the time, and this would just add to my use. I might even pay for it if they charge a small fee.
