Will BlackBerry or Google Maps upgrade at all to include voice? I use the Verizon Navigator and pay the $9.99 monthly fee since it talks to you and therefore pretty brainless to follow.

Also, my previous phone was a VErizon DARE and when I used the navigation system, I could hear it thru my bluetooth. Does not appear to be the case with the BlackBerry, does not transmit when I use the Verizon Navigator thru the Bluetooth. Or is there something I need to do to make that happen? Thanks

You'd have to ask Google, I suppose. But, you can use AmazeGPS. It has voice turn-by-turn directions and it's free.

I have a gps In my car so I don't use either, but if I had to use one I'd pay for VZ Nav. I like voice directions so I can concentrate while I'm driving. Its hard enough keeping my eyes on the road while I type this reply.
