I also use Google maps. BB maps tend to be inaccurate or slow (or both) for me.

I use BB Maps. It is very accurate on my Curve 8330. The GPS works great. Google is not accurate, because it uses cell tower triangulation vs. satellite GPS when using BB Maps.

I actually use both as each have their strengths and weaknesses.

Neither... they are both weak compared to Telenav. I rather pay $9.99/mo for navigation and YellowPages mobile for looking up businesses.

Neither, I use Nav4All (free) and TellMe for look up purposes.
Google maps was never accurate for me at all. BB Maps was
    God awful slow.

For turn by turn, I use amAzeGPS, which for me I found more accurate than Nav4All. Both are free so give them a try.

That's because you are down in the sticks

Both Nav4All and amaZeGPS provide voice guided navigation

it uses cell towers if it doesnt register your GPS. If you have a GPS and it syncs with google maps it is just as accurate.

Plus I don't think BB Maps have satellite images? You can also map out routes for walking, subways, or driving.

Google Maps because I like the ability to type in the name of restaurants and have a list pop up.

Google Maps, and Nav4All. Seems that AmaZe has a hard time connecting to my GPS Dongel.

If you are using google maps, can you delete BB maps from the device? Will it be resent when you resend service books?
