Hi, I wanted to share something that has been bothering me with google maps. I recently moved to a new house, and when I load google maps, it shows me at my old house, with high accuracy, (as in location within 20 meters).

    I'm using a 9810 b.t.w.

When I look at the GPS data in the GPS options on the phone, it has me at my correct location, and if I load Blackberry maps, it is also correct.

I thought it might be a permissions problem, so I set all permissions to allow, under application management, exited Google Maps and relaunched it, and the position was correct for 5 seconds, then it went back to my old house! Very strange.

This has been going on for months now, and was same with my old 9800. Anyone else experiencing this?

The other thing is that when I'm out, I'm finding it takes a long time to acquire a GPS signal sometimes.

Anyone with tips for getting a faster GPS lock, or to fix this incorrect location problem?

    Thanks in advance,

    Ross.
