I don't know where you can download a google launcher., but what I do is have my home page set to igoogle.com. Sign in it will rember you. Goes good with gmail, google maps, google sync, and so on.

I thought this google mobile app used to be an actual app that resided on the phone. Now when they send a link to your phone it just directs you to the mobile browser page.
Sounds redundant. Having to install an icon to take you to google.com? And does this actually qualify as an "application"? I understand the theory behind a webpage launcher, but app?

Thanks all. Actually, I was looking for just that- an icon that launches into google.com, and that's it. I don't want a whole mobile app that includes access to their gmail, googlemaps, etc.
