My Samsung Galaxy Nexus has been factory reset and is now listed on eBay.

I've temporarily downgraded to my old BlackBerry Curve 8530 while I wait for my Gnex to sell. And I must say, it's quite telling when I find my old, trusty Curve more intuitive and easier to communicate with than a newer, nicer Galaxy Nexus.

So now I must decide: Z10 or Q10? It's a difficult decision, as I can see the benefits of each!

Either one would probably be great for me, but this will likely be my go-to phone for the next 1-2 years (or more) so I want to make sure it's something I'm happy with.

Z10 and Q10 owners, why did you choose your model, and what do you like and dislike about it?

It's unlocked. Compatible with any GSM carrier (T-Mobile, AT&T, Straight Talk, etc.).

Went with the Z as it was available and I wanted the extra real estate on screen size for web content and video games. I was always a physical keyboard type of guy but have learned to type fast on my Z and am completely comfortable now. No regrets...but I might grab a Q for the nostalgia.

I wanted a bigger screen so I chose the Z10 thinking that I would have to sacrifice the physical keyboard for a lesser on screen one. Fortunately that's not the case. This keyboard absolutely rocks!!

I picked the Z10 over the Q10 as I had been using a WP8 phone with a virtual keyboard, and got accustomed to it. Besides, I wanted the larger screen. I even used the virtual keyboard on my 9800.

I got the Z because I personally felt like to get the full BlackBerry 10 experience I needed a fill touchscreen. Also because I couldn't wait any longer for a bb10 device to get into my hands.
    The keyboard sold me over.

It comes down to the classic debate: screen real estate vs qwerty keyboard. I personally have the Z and absolutely love it. However I'm shaking in my heels over the Q10. Hit up your carrier and play with them both if you can. Only you know.

Same for me for the most part. Just too long to wait for the Q. I gotta say the Z10 has the first virtual keyboard I can two thumb type on in portrait mode WITH EASE. So even if both were out the Z10 is probably best for me.

I got a Z10 because it was the first device available and after watching all the videos online I just had to have it, figured I'd probably get the Q10 when released because I used to hate virtual keyboards.
    But not anymore
    Love my Z10

I wonder how relevant/prevalent this argument will be now that BB10 is on the market.

I used an iphone user for about 2 years. I've never been a big communicator/txter/emailer on my phone so not having a physical keyboard was no big deal to me. I got a 9900 and that definiltely made me about 10x more likely to reply to an email immediately and made me much more comfortable txting and typing in general. That obviously doesn't go for everyone since a lot of people work great on a virtual keyboard but I think you'll find out pretty quickly which one is for you. Theres probably a cross section with how big a communicator you are and how well you perform on a physical keyboard vs. virtual. For me I much prefer the physical, hands down, wish I didnt lose my 9900, but I'll end up getting a Z10 cause I'm more of a consumption person when it comes to my mobile device.

I got the Z10 because the Q10 wasn't out (still isn't for T-Mobile). I really didn't think I'd adapt to the keyboard the way I did, but I did and now I can type just as fast on my Z10 as I could on my previous phones (9900 and 9810).

I'm getting the Q10 next week on T-Mobile (feels good to say "next week"!) because the Q10 looks too good to pass up

The q10 is a little better with amoled screen, LTE max on Rogers at least, and instant action shortcuts on the keyboard. If you can live with a smaller screen I recommend the q10

I got the Z10 partially because it was the first one out and my curve was dying. But I also felt the BB10 experience would be best on a full screen. The keyboard is so awesome I don't really miss having a physical keyboard. The only thing I would like are the type N go shortcuts from the Q10.

I did go into a store and tried the Q10 a couple of weeks ago. I was surprised with myself because I didn't actually like the feel of the keyboard. Felt too soft or something. I guess I was too used to the cheaper curve hard keys. Lol. So I'm happy to stick with the Z.

Saturday I will get my Z10...finally! (The old 30 days before upgrade policy by ATT has been changed so that you can only upgrade early in the month your upgrade is due. Go figure that my upgrade is due on June 2nd). Why Z10? I have played with the demonstrator at the ATT Store numerous times and find I can type on it quite well. I like the extra screen real estate and because the Q10 is not available in the US yet. If it were, I would still go with the Z10.
