I get a lot of GMail.

How do you delete "all". As I see, you can only delete one at a time.

I have no problem with my other emails.........just GMail.

    Thanks.

You can highlight the top one, hold down the shift key and scroll down the ones you want to delete, hit the menu and select "delete all".

So you're saying if you highlight them and delete they just stay there on your BB?

    No.

You can delete them one by one, but you cannot delete multiple entries.

When I try to hold down the shift key and scroll down......they do not "all" highlight to be deleted all at once.

    Can I click the date......no

Am I using the Gmail app........yes

I think to have the answer you must be using Gmail or familiar with it. It's not the same as the other email app's that I have have, which work with all your suggestions.

ahhhh didn't realize you were using the Gmail app - thought you were just referring to BB email. In that case I don't have an answer for you

Yeah, I think we were confused as to whether you were using Gmail under your BIS set up or the Gmail app. There is not a delete prior option in the Gmail app. The quickest way to delete a message is to press the letter d. This saves you from having to press menu and choosing delete.

On a side note, there are many more keyboard shortcuts you can use and settings. If you press menu and select more, you will get a second menu. Settings is self explanatory, and under help it will list about a dozen more shortcuts you can use.
