I have an 8830we on vzw and for the life of me cannot figure out how to delete multiple emails with gmail. There does not appear to be a menu option. I cannot highlight more than one email using the shift key and the trackball like I can with other email accounts....

Are you trying to do it from your email inbox or through the Gmail app?

As I indicated in my post...that doesn't work...I CANNOT highlight multiple emails with the shift key depressed...it does not work like other email accounts...I just can't believe such a shortcoming was overlooked by Google...

While you are viewing your inbox, simply press the letter D. This will delete the highlighted email. Makes it a little easier to delete more than one email than having to press menu, then delete.

If you start at the top of your inbox, highlight the day/date and hit menu, delete prior.


Opps, just realized you may only want to delete a few of them.

He is also talking about the Gmail app, not Gmail emails in the BB Messages folder.
