Is there a subscription fee? Perhaps you could trade out Magic Jack for Skype. I have an unlimited world plan with Skype. The US/Canada plan is much cheaper. You can call from your phone or computer or from the app, I believe.

    Eh! Wagwan,

I got outta the Caribbean last June 2012, I miss drinkin those vodka-Ting! Was using magic jack while I was down there. Then when I came to the states I hopped on AT&T. I bought the skype subscription for unlimited Canada/US for $2.99/mo and skype gave BB10 users 3 months free through BB. The skype app works much better on 10.2 and I have a fat *** data plan (her name is FeFe). I only pay $10 for the magic jack number annually to keep it alive and call from my cpu if I need. I had all of my calls to my magic jack forwarded to my AT&T number, until magic jack turned off that feature... Maybe you should try that? I feel like I should have written this like a step 1 question lol

I don't have the new os recently leaked , can someone out there with it give this app a try ? I gave up a long time now, i got an android device just to run this app , whish i could get in running on my Z10, to most people this app may not be a big deal, but we live in the caribbean and this is the app we use allot to communicate with families and friends in the US and Canada. Hopefully it works and my friends join me using bb10
You can get a bbry android and iOS native app that works way better and it is made in waterloo and sponsored by dell

    Fongo aka dellvoice

It let's you call over 200 Canadian cities free land or cellphone or fongo client

It gives you a number people can call and if they have a smartphone they can make calls over WiFi or 3g or lte

i am running 10.2 , the last time i contacted them , they said they had no plan to support bb10 at the time, perhaps i will contact them , so many android apps ported over works , not sure why this one just won't
Why wait? Get leak and download the android version from 1Mobilemarket or Amazon store.

will check out ephone see how it compares
EPhone is pretty good. Once you sign up, you get assigned with a phone number and people who call this number can actually get in touch with you. It's free calling within Canada and the US. But I suggest to turn off the settings to disallow it to access your email/text messages because it happened to me a few times where the app texted to some international number on Cayman's Island.

The SMS issue has been fixed in ePhone for a couple months. There are no concerns of ePhone sending out SMS messages aside from those you wish to invite to use the app.
