Does anyone know if there is an app that puts an icon on your homescreen to check gas prices in your area? I know there is Where but I would like an icon on the homescreen to take me right to a program.

I'm not aware of a launcher that exists. There are a bunch of sites that do offer current gas prices. That would be a good idea though!

I know gas buddy has a mobile link and a text message system to get gas prices.

And both google maps and mapquest will show you local gas prices and stations based on where you are on their mobile maps.

And yes there is one for the BB, and no you do not have to have GPS to use the app.

Yeah I wish there was an app for nearby gas prices that would be awesome... I would use where but it takes way too long to get it started...
