    I'm trying the garmin gps free trial. the problem is i can't quite figure out how to get it on my bold 9000. i'm a new user and would like to buy the full version of the garmin gps but not until i can see how it works. any help out there?

    You should be able to get it working from there. I use it and it works well for me. I like it better than a Telenav because after 10 months, Garmin is cheaper.

    I tried that from my Tour and it said that it is not supported. Along that line, I had heard people who could download ended up firing it up the first time and then it said it wouldn't work on VZW.

    Yada yada yada.

    I found another link that let me download it to my Tour. Fired up and locked on without a problem. Trying it out on my way home.

    I still doubt I will pay $79 for it after the trial, but I am glad I was able to finally get the trial onto my VZW Tour.

    it's 79 for the UK version, I've just been looking online for GPS software. That's way too much for GPS software that I'd probably only use now and then.

    Can't believe TomTom have ignored the Blackberrys because they're not touchscreen! the TomTom for the iphone looks excellent. Actually I'm not a fan of the iphone but did just see a pretty cool app, it's a head up display app for the car that projects your speed onto the windscreen! google/youtube it if you're interested.
