#1 this is not a television commercial.. this would be in the commercial space in movie theaters or for their youtube channel…. But once again, a company can take such liberties when they have brand favorability… Furthermore they showed quite a bit in this commercial.. they showed off the watch, the camera zoom, phone calls (mostly) and basically how samsung keeps you connected… Either way its only as good or as bad as the name at the end… So the majority would give samsung a pass because its samsung…

Meanwhile, BlackBerry has Alicia Keys and doesn't utilize her at all. I'm sure she makes really good coffee.

hahaha terrible commercial? really? commercials aren't supposed to get you to KNOW what the product does.. it just peaks your interest so you go and search for the product to know more.. we're not in the 1980's anymore buddy..

Since when did a phone commercial show off the actual phone?... in fact... since when did any commercial for a product display the actual product throughout the entire commercial?

I guess not knowing who these people are.. (probably because you're North Americans who have no connection with soccer... the world's most watched sport on the planet..) HENCE it's relevant to allll people around the world..

did you know that the commercial is going viral around the world just because of the people who are in it? and that's the point of marketing, you attract EVERYONE and show them what/who they like and then slip your product into the mix...

I coach kids professionally, and of my youngsters was telling his teammates how cool the commercial is, and how he wants this "Sangsong" device for Christmas.

That is what GOOD commercials do. The folks in that commercial may not be familiar to folks here in NA, but the name recognition worldwide is worth gold for Samsung.

Great commercial. I like the whole Space Jam/Armageddon theme. Messi and Ronaldo on the same team. I might even have seen Gotze.

Diverse group of the the best from the world's best sport. Not usually a fan of Samsung, but this is well done...

The marketing genius that was Frank Boulben stated in an article once he doesn't believe in celebrity endorsements. Thus the only way to bring her on board was to create a title for her.

A commercial featuring Alicia Keys would have been a great idea. She's beautiful, smart, successful...ideal traits of a BlackBerry spokesperson.
