    Not a bad deal.

A 4G Transcend SD card I bought through NewEgg was an invisible piece of plastic as far as my desktop was concerned. I'd be cautious about buying anything by that manufacturer.

    YMMV, etc.

Anytime you post an 8gb sd/micro for more than $15 it isn't a deal. That's is average/above average price...

Transcend is as good as kingston or sandisk or patriot. I have no idea what invisible plastic you're talking about though...

He meant that the PC didn't recognize it, so it might as well not existed, hence invisible piece of plastic.

Yeah I was confused as I read it. Went to edit and it was too late. You can't blame the card when your pc can't read sdhc cards...

Could have been a bad card. I ordered a couple of 4GB Kingston cards and one was defective.
