Is there any IM besides BBM that offers free voice calls on BBOS?
Also, is there a way to get Google Voice to work on BBOS phones? and are there any similar services on BBOS?

I don't know about Google Voice but BBOS was actually where the BBM Voice calls were introduced. They use Wi-Fi so they are free. You can set them to use Data but that isn't free (though technically Wi-Fi isn't really either). This was introduced a couple years back.
I recall using Viber on BB07 - can't remember if voice calls were enabled though.
Skype? Or does that cost? Is Skype video calling only....?

Viber on BBOS5 & 7 carried VOIP, as well as over wifi.
Skype is not just video calling. It has messaging and phone calling functions as well. Just not as sweetly functioning as BBM.
Thanks.....i figured as much. have not used it in years.....so I was not sure of its current state.
